The FOSS team is gearing up for the annual FOSS.IN/2006 event to be held in November at Bangalore. The dates for the event as of now are November 24th to 26th. This year’s FOSS.IN event will be held over at the National Science Symposium Centre, IISc, Bangalore.
Speaker registrations are open at present. So if you’re interested in giving a tech talk at FOSS.IN, head over to FOSS.IN and register yourself.

Delegate registrations will open up during the first week of November.

it’s so tempting to actually try to get there, to submit a proposal for a session on Supporting Open Source Projects, covering similar topics to the article I wrote for A/R/T recently.

Why not give it a try? :)

maybe I will. problem is that you have to arrange for travel yourself. they offer limited sponsoring. so I’d need to find an organization willing to sponsor my effort, if they decide to invite me for a talk.

hmm… I think I’ll write a proposal and send it to them. There’s enough time to worry about travel expenses.
